Artist Biography

Justin Komljenovich

Justin Komljenovich is a young artist who was born and raised in Kamloops. B.C. Justin is very close to his family and especially his maternal and paternal grandparents who live in the community. After graduating from Norkam Secondary he enrolled at Thompson Rivers University in the Fine Arts. Justin’s focus has been on drawing and painting. Justin had the opportunity this year to explore graphic art while completing his Drawing 4 class. Justin has a passion for Japanese art and in particular, anime and video games. Justin, who is on the autism spectrum, uses his artistic talents to connect with others who also share his enthusiasm for these art forms. Justin intends to finish his Fine Arts degree in Calgary, with the hopes of pursuing a career in animation or video game creation.
